Inbibo Asset License Terms: Inbibo Hyena

Purpose of this Asset

The Inbibo Hyena asset is an example of a production-quality Adonis asset that you can use for educational and evaluation purposes, including publishing your own demos and guides to AdonisFX. You are also free to use the underlying AdonisFX setup for commercial purposes, such as a starting point for setting up your own characters.

Definitions

Character: the Hyena model, including its geometry, textures, materials, and any associated artwork.

• You may use the Character according to the Terms of Use below. Specific limitations apply.

AdonisFX Setup: the simulation configuration, rig, deformer networks, solver settings, and associated AdonisFX workflows.

• You are free to study, reuse, adapt, and repurpose the AdonisFX Setup in your own projects, including commercial production work. 

Animation: ‘animation’ specifically refers to only the transformations of the joints and does not include geometry caches resulting from applying animation to The Character.

• You are free to study, reuse, adapt, and repurpose the Animation in your own projects, including commercial production work

Terms of Use

The terms below apply to the Character only. Your use of AdonisFX itself is governed by the AdonisFX EULA.

The Character: permitted uses

• You may use the Character for learning, practice, and skill development with AdonisFX

• You can modify, break apart, and experiment with the Character as part of your AdonisFX training

• You may include the Character in AdonisFX tutorials, AdonisFX training videos, and AdonisFX educational content (including YouTube) - please be sure to follow the ‘Attribution’ clause below

• You may show the Character in your portfolio to demonstrate your AdonisFX skills - please be sure to follow the ‘Attribution’ clause below

The Character: prohibited uses

• You may not use the Character in any commercial project, including but not limited to: games, films, ads, client work, or products for sale

• You may not use the Character, or any derivative of it, as training data or input for machine learning, AI, or generative AI systems. This includes training, retraining, fine-tuning, or evaluating any model

• You may not redistribute, share, or upload the Character anywhere for others to download

• You may not sell the Character, include it in asset packs, or offer it as part of any product

• You may not remove or alter any attribution or copyright notices

Attribution

When you use the Character in any public-facing AdonisFX content, you must include:

“Inbibo Hyena used under license from Inbibo Ltd. Original hyena model created by Hussein Rasekh"

The video description, credits section, or README file are all fine places for this.

Ownership

The Character remains the property of its original creator. You’re granted a license to use it under these terms. Any original work you add to a derivative is yours, but that doesn’t expand your rights to the underlying Character.

The legal part

This asset is provided “as is” without any warranties. Inbibo, Ltd. and the creators aren’t liable for any issues arising from your use of it. If you breach these terms, your license ends immediately and you must delete all copies. This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
